Who We Are
Friends of Armada was incorporated as a vehicle to raise funds for projects in the community that are otherwise unlikely to be completed. Our organization is 100% volunteer run. There is no paid staff and the Board of Director’s does not receive compensation for their work.
A significant focus of our organization is an investment in the families that live in the community, attend community schools, and support local businesses. Friends of Armada believes that an investment in families is an investment in the community.
Friends of Armada’s vision is to support, develop, and nurture our community with dedication and passion through a spirit of generosity and service.
Any resident, property owner, or business operator within Armada Township or the Armada Area School District, 18 years of age or older, that is willing to provide volunteer support with their time is eligible to become a part of the Friends of Armada organization.
Friends of Armada is a non-profit corporation organized in the State of Michigan and tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Friends of Armada relies on charitable donations and cannot succeed without the financial support of businesses and individuals. Click on the How To Donate tab for information on financial giving to support our mission.
Friends of Armada is an all-volunteer organization. 100% of donations raised by Friends of Armada will be reinvested in Armada.
